Hong Kong World Boutique - January 2011

World Boutique, as part of the Hong Kong Fashion Week, is dedicated to designer's brands; its a special and international event in the fashion business, held every year. This year I took part to display my latest collection of naturally dyed pieces; the dyes I used are those I've developed over the last few years; they are made from fresh plant life and traditional chinese medicinal herbs.

Although a resurgence of natural dyeing in Hong Kong is not widely accepted in the industry, I have had some very positive feedback from other fashion designers, academics, manufacturers and retailers.

Overall, I felt it was great exposure for my work. The photo on the right is of my stand at the show.
